A very special jewel among the holiday residences in the Bregenzerwald is the 350-year-old Landhus Hirschau. Situated on the sunny side above the valley, it still reminds us of the hard everyday life of its inhabitants as farmers for centuries.
The exterior design refers to the traditional living and working traditions of the Bregenzerwald, and the sun-browned shingle façade with cassette windows over a stone foundation only gives you an idea of the charming comfort behind it.
The Landhus Hirschau was once the Roagathus’ presidence and was completely renovated in 2011/2012. The interior was redesigned, left in its essence and yet brought closer to the present day.

Cottage Hirschau
The Landhus Hirschau is particularly spacious with 178 m². It has three bedrooms and a light-flooded living and kitchen area, whose rustic but modern interior guarantees a cosy get-together. Modern interior and noble materials enter into dialogue with an ancient ambience. Spacious rooms, traditional furniture and modern appliances make you forget that this is where the extended farming family ducked down for generations.
Cosy warmth, flattering comfort – the solid wood walls and ceilings were blasted with crushed ice – as well as the ceilings on the upper floor, which were raised by approx. 50 cm, invite you to dreamy living.
A single tiled stove supplies the whole house with heat, the solar system heats the water from its own spring, and in the basement, where only a few years ago sheep and goats crowded together, you can immerse yourself in a world of warmth, colour and aromas in the luxurious spa area.
